With most of our clinicians holding over 30 years of experience in mental health and children's services—and many with personal experience supporting neurodivergent family members—you can trust that you are in knowledgeable, compassionate hands.
Our Founder: Alison Geddes
Founder, Mental Health Nurse & Psychotherapist

With more than 30 years working across mental health, psychotherapy, eating disorders, CAMHS, research, and complex assessment services, Alison established Aspect Autism in 2017 to provide thoughtful, high-quality support, autism assessments for young people and adults. She has lived experience of neurodivergence within her own family. Her breadth of experience—and her calm, person-centred approach—guides everything we do.
Alison McKinnon
Specialist Occupational Therapist, Autism specialist

Alison brings over 30 years of experience supporting children and adults in NHS mental health and neurodevelopmental services. She has extensive training in autism assessment, diagnosis, and long-term support. Her practice is grounded in helping individuals understand their sensory and functional needs in practical, meaningful ways.
Murray Sutherland
Clinical Nurse Specialist, ADHD Nurse

With more than 35 years working with adults in NHS mental health services , Murray offers a deep, research-informed understanding of autism and ADHD. He has dedicated much of his career to supporting people, autistic adults alike, contributing to research, and undertaking specialist training in neurodevelopmental assessment.
Nikki Wallace
Specialist Speech & Language Therapist, Autism specialist

Nikki has over 30 years of experience working with children, young people and adults in NHS Autism services and she is nationally recognised for training others in autism assessment and diagnostic practice. Her approach is supportive, engaging, and grounded in helping individuals communicate in ways that feel authentic and comfortable to them.
Caroline Viney
Specialist Speech & Language Therapist, Autism specialist

With 25+ years of specialist autism experience, Caroline brings a wealth of training and clinical insight into supporting autistic children, adults, and their families. She also trains practitioners at a national level, ensuring her work is always informed by the latest best-practice standards and research.
Associate Clinical Psychology services offer and support further assessment if required. A Team Built on Experience—Both Professional and Personal
While we are a highly trained clinical team, many of us also have personal experience supporting neurodivergent family members. This gives us a deeper level of understanding—one that helps us appreciate the realities, challenges, and strengths each individual brings.
