Meet the Team Behind Aspect Autism: Personalised Care, Every Step of the Way

At Aspect Autism, we believe that every individual deserves to feel understood, valued and supported. We also recognise that seeking an autism or ADHD assessment can be a significant step, whether you are exploring a diagnosis for yourself or supporting a child or loved one through the process.
That is why we place such importance on providing a personal, compassionate and individualised experience from the very beginning.
We are more than an assessment service. We are a dedicated team of experienced professionals who genuinely care about the people we support.
A Small Team with a Wealth of Experience
Our dedicated team brings together over 30 years of professional experience across a range of specialist fields, including mental health, specialist children's services, NHS autism teams and autism research.
This breadth of knowledge and experience allows us to approach every assessment with a deep understanding of autism, ADHD and the many different ways in which neurodivergence can present.
However, we believe that professional expertise is only part of what makes a good service. Equally important are compassion, understanding, patience and the ability to make every individual feel comfortable and listened to.
At Aspect Autism, these values are at the heart of everything we do.
Your Own Dedicated Therapist
One of the things that makes Aspect Autism different is our small, bespoke team and our commitment to building meaningful relationships with the people we support.
Every client is allocated their own dedicated therapist, who will be there to guide and support them throughout their assessment journey.
Rather than feeling as though you are simply moving through an assessment process, you will have a familiar professional who understands your individual circumstances, listens to your concerns and is available to provide guidance along the way.
We recognise that navigating an autism or ADHD assessment can sometimes feel overwhelming. Having a consistent point of contact can make an enormous difference, providing reassurance, continuity and a sense of familiarity throughout the experience.
Our approach means that you are never simply another appointment or assessment. You are an individual, with your own experiences, challenges, strengths and needs.
An Individualised Approach to Every Assessment
We understand that no two autistic people are the same, and the same is true of individuals with ADHD.
Everyone has their own unique experiences, personality, strengths and challenges. We believe that the assessment process should reflect this individuality.
At Aspect Autism, we take the time to get to know you, understand your circumstances and ensure that our approach is tailored to your particular needs.
Whether we are working with a young child, a teenager or an adult seeking answers later in life, our aim is always the same: to provide a professional, supportive and personalised experience in which every individual feels heard and understood.
We want our clients and their families to feel confident asking questions, discussing concerns and sharing their experiences openly.
Our Support Doesn't End with a Diagnosis
For many individuals and families, receiving an autism or ADHD diagnosis is just the beginning of a new chapter.
A diagnosis can provide clarity, understanding and validation, but it can also bring new questions.
What happens next? What support is available? How can I better understand my needs, or those of my child? How can I navigate challenges at school, at work or in everyday life?
At Aspect Autism, our relationship with you does not have to end when your assessment is complete.
We offer continued support beyond diagnosis, helping individuals and families navigate the next steps with greater confidence and understanding.
This may include post-diagnostic guidance, ongoing therapeutic support, or reports and recommendations to help individuals access appropriate support within educational or workplace settings.
Our aim is not simply to provide a diagnosis, but to help people make sense of what that diagnosis means for them and how they can move forward positively.
A Personal Service Built Around You
As a small, specialist team, we take pride in offering something that can sometimes be missing from larger services: a genuinely personal experience.
We value the relationships we build with our clients and their families, and we understand the importance of trust, consistency and feeling comfortable with the professionals supporting you.
From your initial enquiry through to assessment, diagnosis and any ongoing support you may need, our team is committed to making your experience as positive, reassuring and individualised as possible.
Because at Aspect Autism, we don't just focus on the diagnosis. We focus on the person behind it.
